Location: CLEMSON SC
Duration: 12+ Months
This is a DAYTIME position 6am-6pm. VARIED SCHEDULE: 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, DOES include working on holidays. Assigned to a team so they do not work every weekend (every other). This is shift work so some weeks WILL have Overtime.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
MONITORS, TESTS, MAINTAINS AND REPAIRS NETWORK AND INFRASTRUCTURE ELEMENTS

MONITORS NETWORK, SERVER, AND APPLICATION ELEMENTS, RESOLVE INCIDENTS AND SERVICE REQUESTS AND/OR CONSULT WITH THE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT TEAM FOR INCIDENT RESOLUTION. APPLIES SIMPLE STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY TO MEET AND IMPROVE NETWORK CONTROL CENTER.

CONFIGURE NETWORK AND SYSTEM RESOURCES, AND MAINTAIN CORRESPONDING SYSTEM RECORDS AND DOCUMENTATION. PROVIDES TIER II SUPPORT AS PER SME AGREEMENTS. PERFORMS PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS. PERFORMS PRE-CONFIGURED PORT ACTIVATIONS ON NETWORK SWITCHES.

PREPARES AND REVIEWS DOCUMENTATION FOR USE IN OPERATIONS FOR TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE BASE. PARTICIPATES IN TRAINING AND CROSS TRAINING FOR THE TIER II. . PROVIDES CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ALL INFORMATION AND/OR TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEMS SUPPORT AREAS.

CONTROL NETWORK AND SYSTEM PROCESSING. RESPONDS TO CUSTOMER INQUIRIES AND ALERTS VIA EMAILS, INCOMING CALLS, AND WALK-INS. CONDUCTS ROUTINE INSPECTIONS ON EQUIPMENT AND REPORTS ANY ABNORMALITIES. OTHER OPERATIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED SUCH AS MEETINGS, PROJECT WORK, ADMINISTRATION AND FACILITIES REQUIREMENTS.
